Back in Milan, we stopped in the restaurant of this farmhouse with two great friends. Immersed in the Val di Sieve, a few kilometers from the Barberino del Mugello motorway exit, the farmhouse offers, in addition to accommodation and educational tours, the opportunity to eat. Do not be fooled by the "room", spartan and with a maximum capacity of 12-15 covers: the food, plentiful, is truly delicious. We tasted: an appetizer with a plate of salami, a very fresh ricotta, a plate of caciotte made by them (drunk, with saffron, chives and chilli) with two compotes, croutons. First course: sumptuous potato ravioli with meat sauce (red circle), excellent in terms of puff pastry and filling, as well as for cooking. Second course skipped due to generous portion of the first. However, they had prepared a mixed roast of meats from their farms. Desserts: panna cotta and pudding made by them with the milk of their cows. Wine, water, coffee and vin santo. Very honest price. Possibility to buy their products: we tasted excellent yoghurt.
